Fundraising for Sports Teams

A Fundraising Platform Built for Sports Teams

Successful sports team fundraising depends on participation and making it easy for supporters to contribute. With GoPledge, teams can create a campaign and invite individual athletes to participate. Each participant receives their own personalized donation page that they can share with family, friends, and other supporters.

This peer-to-peer format allows every athlete to contribute to the team’s broader fundraising efforts while expanding the campaign beyond the team’s immediate network.

Choose Pledges or Flat Donations

GoPledge supports flexible donation formats that work well for sports fundraisers. Teams can organize pledge-based activities where supporters contribute based on a measurable result, such as laps completed, goals scored, or shots made.

GoPledge also supports flat donations for donors who prefer to give a specific amount. This flexibility allows coaches and organizers to select a campaign format that fits the team, sport, and schedule.

Personalized Fundraising Page

Personalized participant pages are a key part of GoPledge’s peer-to-peer fundraising approach. Athletes can share their individual page through email, text messages, or social media, helping them connect directly with people who want to support their efforts.

Participant pages display fundraising goals and progress, making it easy for athletes and supporters to follow the campaign. Real-time leaderboards can add friendly competition and keep participants engaged throughout the fundraiser.

Manage and Track Your Fundraising Campaign

GoPledge gives campaign organizers tools to monitor fundraising progress from a centralized dashboard. Coaches and team leaders can follow participant activity, view campaign performance, and use reporting tools to stay informed as donations come in.

GoPledge charges no platform fees. Organizations pay standard Stripe payment processing fees for online donations, providing straightforward pricing for teams looking to raise funds.
